Back when Webdiary was Webdiary on Fairfax, Polly Bush wrote a fabulous piece and called Webdiary Club Chaos. You can read it here. Of course as we know, all forms of chaos were banned under the new regime and Kingo's Club Chaos morphed into Webdiary Klub Kontrol. I prefer the chaos model where all are welcome. Interestingly, Club Chaos in Washington DC has that kind of model. It is a place where all are welcome. As an example the famous "drag bingo" nights draw a mainly straight crowd The ethos though always remains open and fun. It is funny that Polly spoke of a virtual place called Club Chaos and now I've found a real one! It is pretty funny and I would recommend it to anyone visiting DC regardless of their preferences. It is the kind of place that most people with a sense of humor and fun would enjoy. Below is the official Washington Post review of Club Chaos!
Club Chaos
1603 17th St. NW, Washington, DC 20009
Tucked under the Dupont Circle area's broad sidewalks is Chaos, one of the most energetic and free-spirited hot spots in the District. Well known in the straight community for its Tuesday night drag bingo event, Chaos offers six nights of entertainment a week – including three drag shows – and never charges a cover.
From drag bingo, which draws a mostly straight crowd, to Thursday's Latin night and Saturday's drag cabaret, Chaos ensures a truly fabulous experience.
Half trendy bistro and half dance club, Chaos features two well-rounded menus for bar snackers and leisurely diners. The bar is astoundingly well stocked, its wine list is decidedly respectable, and the drinks are stiff and inexpensive – $3 for liquor, and $2 to $4 for beer.
Chaos packs a crowd as diverse and energetic as D.C. itself, and the heavily alternative lifestyle mix is perpetually extravagant, a tad exotic and riotously fun. One of the best feeling bars in town, Chaos mixes a whimsical sense of fun, great space, good food and a flung-open-wide door policy that is nothing but a recipe for complete success.
Life really does imitate art sometimes!

Sounds like a good name for your new media site Harry.
